This weekend was filled with almost twenty photoshoots, each one so much fun and exciting in their own way, but this session was extra special! Rachel and Charlie contacted me a couple of years ago shortly after buying their first home together during the early stages of wedding planning. They ended up tieing the knot in Hawaii, lucky ducks, surrounded by just their closest family and friends. So when Rachel reached out to plan her one year anniversary photoshoot up in the mountians I was so thrilled! She had fallen in love with the venue I work at frequently, Pine Rose Cabins, and wanted that vibe for their anniversary along with some of the other gorgeous locations up in Lake Arrowhead. We spent the evening hiking through the tall Pines, floating out on the lake docks, and celebrating their anniversary with a perfect session. It was such a gorgeous way to spend my sunday evening, thank you Rachel and Charlie for letting me be a part of it!
We met at a mutual friends birthday party. When we realized we can be ourselves around each other right away we knew they were the one, we always wanted to spend time with each other. We were in escrow buying our house, we did a walk through we actually closed escrow that day which I had no idea he had everyone play along that we didn’t close for a few more days. The following day we got a message from our realtor (she was in on the secret as well) stating the owners really like you guys and wanted to give you guys the keys today and to met her at our new home. We went to get our keys at our new home he had me unlock the front l door, opened the front door to find friends and family in our house before getting into the house he was on one knee on our front porch with a ring asking me to marry him. YESSS!!! Then informed me we actually closed escrow yesterday walked in our house with rose pedals everywhere with the largest red rose bouquet ever! With Mr. and Mrs. banners made and a welcome home banner made.
Our wedding day was very intimate with close family and friends, Stress free! Sadi is absolutely wonderful she made posing a breeze. She made us feel so comfortable while taking pictures. Enjoyed how down to earth she is.
