Danielle and James’ beautiful garden wedding day at the Coyote Hills wedding venue was so romantic. They tied the knot in front of their family and friends under the lushest ceremony gazebo I have ever seen. Her wedding colors were a lovely lavender and peach with accents of succulents. I loved spending the day with them, and boy did these guys know how to party! Their reception was lit!
How did you meet? Through mutual friends. We have known each other for almost 9 years. (Four of them we have been dating/married haha)

How did he propose? On the roof of the mission inn in riverside and surprised me with a room with the most amazing view! Chocolate strawberries and champagne, and rose petals all over. He did good 😉

Why did you choose your venue? We knew we wanted something garden and green, so we toured a few. Coyote hills was our first tour and we instantly fell in love

What was your floral inspiration? I definitely wanted to include succulents from my moms garden, and I’ve always loved the greens and pinks and purples together. The florist really made my vision come true with the purple kale and blush roses. It was the perfect mix of elegant and eclectic

What was the theme/colors/concept for your wedding? We wanted an elegant, but fun and lighthearted day. Colors were lilac, dusty rose, and like a heather blue. We just wanted everybody to have a good time, and dance the night away with us
Why did you choose Whimsie Studios to photograph your wedding day? You have worked with the Callanan family (and Hoff’s) so much, that Kelly gave me your Instagram and I fell in love. Your photographs are unmatched to everybody else I have seen, and you have such a passion for it. That definitely comes out in your photos!

What was your wedding day photoshoot experience like? It was absolutely perfect. We had groomsmen on the loose and a big family, so you really knew how to handle everything efficiently, and take some amazing pictures that we will remember forever.
What was the highlight of your wedding day, the best part for each of you? The best part of the wedding for me was walking down the aisle to James. There is no other feeling that can describe that moment. You have to experience it for yourself to understand, but it is almost like you shut off the entire world and you can only see him standing there, waiting for you. The taco and nacho bar was pretty clutch too haha James’ favorite part was standing in front of everybody, holding my sweaty hands, and professing our love through our wedding vows. He couldn’t stop staring at me, and thinking his beautiful I looked that day.

What did you like most about working with me? You were always making us feel comfortable (because neither of us is even close to being models haha) in front of the camera, you were efficient with our families, and were always asking us what we wanted. Like I said before, your passion for photography and love of weddings really shined through, and it made the day go so smooth!
