When Stephanie and Michael contacted me for their one year anniversary photoshoot in Paris I knew it was a dream job. I am already so lucky to get to travel the world, but getting to photograph a couple celebrating their anniversary in France is a win win! We started our shoot at sunrise at the Trocadero, a platform above the tower with a beautiful view of it and the city below. The wonderful thing about sunrise photoshoots is tourists are still tucked into their beds and its not as crowded. We lucked out with gorgeous weather, dreamy lighting and a dreamy session.
My friend Dominique, with Plume and Fete, designed this gorgeous invitation for the shoot and we captured some fun flat lays in the hotel room. I loved the floral envelope liner and little map of Paris, they tied in so perfectly with this shoot. We tied in the flat lay with a cream silk ribbon from Hey It’s Oh So Pretty, if you haven’t yet you should definitely check out her shop on Etsy.
Is there anything more magical then a gorgeous couple twirling into a kiss at sunrise at the eiffel tower? I think not!
After we finished our shoot at the Eiffel tower we took an Uber to the Tuileries gardens just outside the Louvre and meandered around photographing some of the most iconic sites. This castle that once housed royalty and nobles makes the perfect backdrop for a romantic session in Paris.
After our trip to the Museum we stopped for coffee’s and desserts at a little bistro across from their hotel and the Arc de Triumph and chatted over our treats.
