Elly and Andy Married at Pine Rose Cabins, Hidden Creek Wedding Videography

Elly and Andy got married under a canopy of forest trees in one of the most beautiful destination wedding venues in Southern California. The Lake arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins Hidden Creek site hosted one of the years most stunning weddings as these two love birds said their I do’s next to a serene babbling creek and coi pond. Their fall wedding was adorned with romantic floral centerpieces and bouquets that incorporate some of the most beautiful ranunculus and peonies and deep rich fall colors. Elly looked stunning in her ivory wedding gown and Andy cleaned up nice himself, sporting a very unique “Pine Rose” pine-cone boutineer. Check out their wedding highlight video below and leave some love!

Heres a little bit of their love story from the bride and groom: We met at work! We work together at an engineering firm. Elly has an endless amount of unconditional love that I had only seen in my own family.
We were in Peru on a 4 day trek to Machu Picchu. On day 4 we reached the top and spent a few hours hiking around before stopping at a small village where we found a quite spot at a window in one of the houses. The window overlooked the valley below Machu Picchu and was so beautiful. I turned around and saw Andy on one knee – that’s when I lost it! I was so surprised, I had no idea it was coming! It was absolutely perfect.

We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding in the woods. We loved Pine Rose not only for the gorgeous scenery, but because of the intimacy – all our friends were able to spend the weekend up here with us. Staying in the woods was ultra-relaxing but also a party all at the same time. It was a weekend long celebration! We will keep coming back to Pine Rose each year (and bring our kids here one day)!

We took one look at Sadi’s portfolio and never considered anyone else. Sadi’s use of light transforms pictures unlike anything we’ve ever seen – they are unique and absolutely gorgeous. We knew Whimsie was the perfect choice for us and we would be lucky to have them tell our story. They turned our wedding day into a fairy-tale. Sadi and her team made it easy! It felt like we had a team of wedding coordinators and photographers all in one. They all knew how to keep the event moving along and let us know what to expect and when. When posing doesn’t feel natural normal they helped in making it so. The whole day moved along seamlessly. Working with Whimsie was such an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Our wedding day was Beautiful from start to finish.  All our families and friends together in one place was an amazing thing. It was all about love.

What advice would you give other brides planning their day? Soak it all in! Wedding planning can be hectic and it’s so important to take the day slowly and enjoy it. Don’t forget to stop and reflect in the special moments. After you get into your dress, stop and take a breath. Take a look at your bridal party and take a breath. Take a look down at your flowers and take a breath. Before you walk down the aisle, stop and take a big deep breath! Gaze out at all your guests who are there to love and support you and your new life with your spouse! Be in the moment as much as you can. Once the day is over you will only have the pictures left – so be sure to choose a great photographer to capture these perfect moments for eternity!
