Erica and Cameron’s Wedding at the Grove in Redlands

There are so many wonderful things I want to say about this wedding, and as I sit here uploading the photos and video highlight to this blog post it is incredible to relive this day we spent with Erica and Cameron. Their wedding was so full of laughter, tears, emotions and joy and if the video above doesn’t give that away, the photos certainly will! Erica and Cameron chose the Grove in Redlands to host their beautiful wedding day in May for its lush greenery, orange groves as far as the eye can see, beautiful twinkle light reception site and the great outdoors. It was the perfect setting for such a whimsical and romantic wedding. Every detail, from their stunning wedding invite suite to the gorgeous pink couch they dined on at the reception was hand selected by the couple to create the perfect romantic atmosphere for their day. I was basically in photographer heaven getting to capture such a stunning wedding and such a gorgeous and photogenic couple. Not to mention their electric chemistry, it made for some great moments and some even better photos! Don’t believe me, check them out for yourself!

Cameron and I met 8 years ago through mutual friends… my girlfriend invited me over to a “friends house” which ended up being Cameron’s apartment and I knew everyone there except him. I told him he was gonna be my beer pong partner for the night and the rest is history we haven’t spent more than a week apart since! 😂

So I knew Cameron was the one after his second niece jade was born. Seeing him be scared to hold her and do so well with kids I knew he was the one for me everyone loves him. He says he knew he wanted to marry me after he had a dream that I was no longer in his life and he said it was the worst feeling he ever had and bought a ring the next week.

Cameron and I used to work at a whiskey distillery and bartend events we always invited our friends and family. On April 21st we planned a “speakeasy night” so it was no surprise our closest friends and family were there. And a photographer was there to “shoot for j Riley” so I didn’t think anything of it. Cameron decided to stop the event and make an “announcement” to thank everyone for coming and always supporting us. Again, I had no clue what was going on. Until he called me out to the middle of the room and got down on one knee. We cried and drank and danced the night away with everyone. It was a great day!

Our venue was the first place we went to see and I was sold right away, everything we saw after didn’t compare. It completely outdoors which was a must, it wasn’t too far from where we live, I love garden roses so that sold me and the treehouse with the putting green sold Cameron.

Everyone was very professional. And felt like we were made to feel special. And we loved the attention to detail and my husband loved that you asked him what was important to him to shoot. And what shots we needed to get. Felt as though we got everything we wanted.

From the moment we met with you we felt very comfortable and love your style of photography. Come wedding day we felt like we knew exactly what we were getting. And trusted you completely with your opinions. Staff was awesome! Can’t wait to see our photos and video! 😍
