Some days I just want to shout it from the roof tops how wonderful my job is. That isn’t to say I don’t work long hours and hard days, of course I do! But there are days when my career as a wedding and portrait photographer are so rewarding. Getting to be a part of a couples most important days, capturing every special moment for them and then letting them relive that day forever through their wedding gallery is a really special gift. When I edit through the final galleries of images, after narrowing down the thousands to the very best I too get to relive that day, feel the emotions again as the groom sees his bride for the first time, or as she dances with her daddy around the dance floor. I love everything about that.
Kassidy and Kevens wedding day was so romantic. They hosted a beautifully bohemian event up in the forest in Lake Arrowhead at the Pine Rose Cabins and invited their closest friends and family to celebrate with them. I am smitten with the detail they used to make their day personal; from Kassidy’s unique floral palette of oranges and peaches and ivory blossoms, to their reception family style farm house tables and rustic whimsical decor. It was the perfect combination of elegance and nature.
