Here are the three cover photos that were chosen out of thousands of entries:
I have to admit something, my all time Favorite part of being a wedding photographer is getting to witness and capture my friends wedding day! I have known Olivia since we were in high school and hanging out at lunches with all of our friends, so naturally when I found out she and Trevor were engaged and wanted me to photograph their wedding I couldn’t have been more excited to accept! Olivia has always had amazing style and her wedding day was so beautiful, there was so much attention to detail and her wedding planner Katie of Plaid and Paisley Weddings, LLC. really brought her amazing vision to life. The overall inspiration for the wedding day was the Olive Branch, so classic and timeless and beautiful. Their wedding ceremony was intimate and romantic in front of a chandelier graced waterfall. Twinkle lights lit the entire venue and we were surrounded by gorgeous flowers and love. View all of Olivia and Trevor’s wedding HERE.
Julio and Kourtney tied the knot this summer at the beautiful Hidden Creek Lodge, at the Lake Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins. They were married in one of most beautiful ceremonies we have ever witnessed! Her big brother walked her down the isle to her handsome groom waiting for her with the biggest grin on his face, it was so sweet! Beautiful floral arrangements adorned the ceremony gazebo on the side of their Coi pond and the bride wore a stunning flower crown on her head to compliment her simple lace wedding dress. Everything about their day was absolutely beautiful, the invites were a hand watercolored mountain theme with these awesome gold painted forest animals to go along with them, the details were out of control outstanding! Overall it was one of the most well planned and lovely weddings. Kourtney and Julio said their I do’s and then partied the night away under the twinkle lights and the mountain high stars. This beautiful feature was masterminded by the incredible Leila of Brilliant Event Design in San Diego. We wanted to create something for the magazine that brought to life a Balinese wedding theme in sunny San Diego California. We worked with so many amazing vendors on this shoot to create this amazing look.
One of the best parts of working with Pine Rose Cabins in Lake Arrowhead is all of the wonderful couples and vendors we get to meet and work with. Erin and Joe were so much fun to spend the day with, they are quirky and out of the box and I loved it! Their wedding day was trendy and rustic and so beautiful. Together with their fabulous wedding designer Leila with Brilliant Events Design they chose a very hip style trend of striped ties and lavender bouquets, some fun and funky details and lots of love! I can’t even begin to describe all of the beautiful details that Emily and Allen planned for their big day! Pine Rose cabins is such a lovely venue to begin with, but couple that with one of the most creative and talented brides on the planet, you get this beauty. Down to the last detail, everything about their berry and powder blue wedding was stunning. The floral arrangements that were pulled together by Dee and John with Jasmine Rose Florals were so unique and included a variety of pinks and reds and berries. Their wedding invites were hand made and very vintage including the little flower stamps, floral paper lining and incredible calligraphy.
Emily wore a long sleeved lace dress design by Demetrios Bride that was elegant and perfect for the rustic outdoor wedding. The lace detailing on the sleeves and back of the dress were perfect! I loved posing her with her back to the camera, hand up on Allen’s shoulder, lace detailing everywhere. After the ceremony concluded, the reception began and so did the party. Guest enjoyed signature drinks under the twinkle lights and the stars while dancing the night away.
After seven years of doing photography full time you feel like you have seen and captured it all, so when a couple tells you they are bringing a vintage VW bus to their engagement photo shoot it is quite exciting! Especially when that bus doubles and the Photo Booth for their wedding, which makes it that much cooler! Adam from My Photo Bus LA showed up with this gorgeous olive green bus, decked out with flowers and fun suitcases all ready for the perfect backdrop to this photoshoot! Between the bus and the ferris wheel at Calamigos Ranch I was in photographer heaven, oh and did I mention getting to photograph a Super adorable couple on top of that! AhhhhhH!!!! Katie and Jeff are seriously the sweetest most genuine couple, and capturing their love story has been such a beautiful experience. I can not wait for their wedding next year we are literally counting the days!
