Can you believe it! We started hosting workshops about 6 years ago and have had so many amazing ones, but I can honestly say this will be the one that tops them all! From the incredible venue in County Clare, Ireland to the insane styling and design that will be done for the styled shooting portion, this workshop is going to be one to write home about!

I have been a wedding and portrait photographer in Southern California for the last ten years now, and have personally captured over 350 weddings in that time. I spent two years growing my business as I worked on the side and then quit my full time job to do Photography full time! We have grown from a small Business into a multi employee corporation and now have an entire team who works for us! I also specialize in boudoir photography and portraits and have created a very vibrant and sought after business in California. In addition to working in sunny So Cal, we have shot weddings all over the world, from Belgium to Cancun, Paris and Puerto Rico, Germany and this year Bali!
In my first two years as a full time photographer I grew my business from a $25k a year profit to a six figure Profit, not gross! From there we’ve continued to grow exponentially and have established ourselves in the market in a major way as a luxury wedding photograph business. Our photography style is recognize-able and impactful to our clients and with hard work and determination we have solidified our business in what many know is an over saturated market here in Southern California!
While I specialize in natural light fine art digital photography, I am very experienced with on and off camera flash, as well as cinematography. My husband and I collectively shoot both photo and video for our weddings, combining the two to maximize profit and provide our clients a one stop shop for their wedding day. As full time wedding industry professionals, Kyle and I have built a lifestyle that we love, and we are so excited to share that with you! From traveling the world, spending more time at home with our two beautiful kids, to buying our house and establishing our own financial security in this business, we are prepared to tell all in what I promise will be an enlightening and fun workshop!

We will cover editing/workflow/organization of wedding files after shooting, we will have a presentation on how we use the Mastin Presets to create a cohesive and consistent brand, importing/exporting/ prepping for social media and the blog. Then we will have a presentation on taking those edited images and creating an amazing luxury albums with the Smart Albums program which has honestly changed our album design process in incredible ways.

The workshop including three nights stay and hosted breakfast each day will be $2200 per person. Couples and friends traveling together can book two spots at $1800 each and share a room.
Join us in County Clare, Ireland for a romantic castle and coastal inspired wedding photographers workshop this April and see what beauty Ireland has to offer. Our workshop will be an intimate opportunity to grow and challenge yourself creatively while getting inspired by some of the most stunning views and quaint towns. The workshop is set in the Irish countryside at a romantic getaway where we will spend four days together covering shooting on the wedding day for yourself and your client to create a brand you love, posing clients and working on a tight timeline, Marketing yourself to your ideal client with not only your advertising but your images and branding, editing for a consistant brand, managing your social media and website and blog without losing your mind, In person sales and how to do maximize them, breaking into a destination wedding market and more. The workshop will include 4 nights stay at a beautiful bed and breakfast, breakfast daily, three unique styled shoots, class room time with portfolio reviews and tours of some of the most beautiful spots in Ireland!
Day one April 24th ~ Everyone will Arrive to the B & B between 2-4 pm for check in, get settled into their rooms, followed by hosted Welcome dinner.
Day two April 25th ~ We will start day two with a delicious breakfast together where we will discuss our businesses, what is working for us and what we want to see improvement on. This will be followed by our first Styled shoot, bridal boudoir. Our bridal boudoir model is a pointe ballerina and there is a few stunning locations around the property and castle where we will be able to shoot both indoor and outdoor boudoir. We will then take a break for lunch in town, and meet back at the bed and breakfast, this is followed by a details styling class where I will explain how to create fine art images with the details you have available, and how to maximize your detail photos to attract a higher end clientelle. After our styling portion we will have a couples anniversary/engagement styled session with a trip to the nearby castle for sunset photos with our models, we will go over posing, lighting, shooting on a limited timeline, creating romantic images your clients will love. Then we will take a break for dinner in town, meet back at the B and B for an extensive discussion of business skills, customer service, and reaching a boutique clientelle. This will be followed by an in depth discussion on pricing yourself for the market you are in, creating packages that will attrack a high end client while creating value in your work.
Day three April 26th ~ We will begin with a hosted Breakfast and one on one portfolio reviews where I will go through your website/social media and portfolio to give advice and cc, this will be followed by 2 hours of editing with Mastin to create a luxury brand and developing a workflow to turn your images over efficiently. We will then take a break for lunch, then meet back at the b & b for the styled wedding shoot, We will photograph wedding details, the bride and groom, the sweetheart table and cake and everything in between! We will then take a trip to the Cliffs of Moher for sunset bride and groom photos. After we will grab dinner, head back to the B and B and have a review of marketing yourself in an oversaturated market, creating a brand that your clients will love, blogging for Search engine optimisation, managing your social media, creating packages and products and incorporating IPS sales and networking with local wedding vendors to expand your business.
Day four April 27th ~ We will start our final day with breakfast, followed by a one hour class on getting featured and published both for print and in blogs, then we will check out of B and B, and have an optional photo journalism tour of some of Irelands stunning views.
(After the workshops ended there is an Optional trip to dublin for an additional night and a tour of the Guinness Sotre house, the famous dublin Castles, and more of my favorite places in Dublin, rooms not included for this night)
I have been a professional wedding photographer since 2008, this trip actually marks my 10 year anniversary as a wedding photographer! Our studio photographs over 50 weddings per year both in the US and abroad, my husband and I and our associate team offer both photography and videography to our clients. We have spent the past six years teaching workshops and not only does this workshop mark our ten year photographer anniversary, but our 10th workshop I will be teaching as well so its extra special!
