Balboa Park Editorial with Dogwood and Fir

This romantic editorial was inspired by the european architecture of Balboa Park in San Diego California. Our fantastic makeup and hair team created a soft vintage glow look for our Bride Olivia Mar. I love how perfectly executed this look was, from the dramatic cat eye to the soft lips it created the perfect vintage glam, Kimtsy with Peony Blush Makeup never disappoints. Her work is always on point.

For Olivia’s updo I wanted something set to the site to accent her one shoulder ruffle dress, and Jessie with JNC Beauty did a fantastic job pulling this look together. If you haven’t seen my recent instagram work, you might have missed our recent partnership with the men at Dogwood and Fir, florists and stylists extraordinaire! I am absolutely obsessed with their work and love getting to team up with them for romantic styled shoots. They created the perfect spring time bouquet for this shoot, with vibrant peonies at the base and soft ranunculus and sweet peas and lisianthus at the top to give it that lush feel.
