When you dream about your wedding day what comes to mind? A whimsical wedding in the woods surrounded by nature, streams flowing over rocks and wind blowing through the trees? Emily and Ryan’s incredible wedding day at Pine Rose cabins was exactly what I think of when I envision a perfect day. We lucked out with the most beautiful May weather, a cool breeze and the sweetest couple to photograph.
Cross and Swan events helped Emily in the planning of the wedding day alongside Lynda Moudy her on site coordinator and every detail was executed to perfection. I am obsessed with the gorgeous floral draped acrylic copper welcome sign, her long farm house tables with simple garland greenery center pieces and the thought full guest gifts that adorned each place setting.
How did you meet?
We went to high school together and started dating a few years after.
How did you know she/he was the one?How did he propose?
Ryan proposed on a hike in Big Bear. We went back to our cabin and all our friends were there with it decorated. We celebrated all night.
Why did you choose your venue?I grew up going to Lake Arrowhead every year and it is really special to me. Once Ryan and I are started dating it became special to both of us. We both wanted to get married in the mountains so it made perfect sense.
What was the highlight of your wedding day, the best part for each of you?
