Daisy and Tejler’s whimsical wedding at Hidden Creek Lodge
| This year’s summer wedding season has been so incredible! After a devastating 2020 season, it has been such a breath of fresh air getting back to work and back to doing what we love most, capturing love stories for our brides and grooms. Daisy and Tejler’s wedding was no exception, their love story was one for the fairytale books. It all came down to the details for this springy romantic event, from the soft pastel blush and blue color palette to the incredible designer Hayley Paige gown Daisy wore, every little detail was planned to perfection. I am kind of in love with her gorgeous bouquet, created by one of my favorite florists, Jasmine Rose Florals. I loved the combination of peaches and pinks with ivory and soft greenery, it was perfect for a mountain top wedding on a calm sunny day. |
How did you meet? A true 21st century love story! We met on an online dating app
How did you know she/he was the one?We both felt like we could grow, learn, and take greater risks when together
How did he propose? He proposed in Belize. We travelled to celebrate his mother’s 60th birthday and Tejler orchestrated this grand secret proposal on a private beach. He flew my entire family out to share this special moment as well. It was the first time in my life I was ever truly surprised!
Why did you choose your venue?
Arrowhead is very special to us. We love nature, trees, and the mountains! The sound of the creek running in the background was so beautiful and peaceful.
What was your floral inspiration? I love the warm and romantic vibes from neutral and elegant floral arrangements. I knew I wanted something stunning, but not overpowering and something that really complemented the natural color hues around us.
What was the theme/colors/concept for your wedding? We wanted it to be a perfect blend and mix of the two of us. Girly, timeless, princess vibes and rugged mountain chic.
Just by looking through Sadi’s portfolio we knew she could capture the essence of our day perfectly. Her photos are soft and and exude such a romantic ambiance. AMAZING! Everyone felt so comfortable and at ease taking pictures the whole time. There were such special intimate moments that were able to held in a natural manner due to such a calm and inviting experience. As a bride, I was able to relax and really enjoy the moments with my bridal party since I felt so comfortable and was able to trust the process completely.
What was the highlight of your wedding day, the best part for each of you? Daisy-Hearing Tejler’s heartfelt personal vows during our ceremony. Tejler- Seeing my stunning bride walk down the aisle.
